Our Enterprise curriculum aims to provide students with a dynamic blend of practical and theoretical learning, enabling them to explore business concepts and develop school-based enterprise initiatives. Through this, we seek to
Develop students’ understanding of creative thinking, teamwork, and key business principles such as profit and loss, budgeting, handling money, and customer service.
Introduce students to a range of career opportunities, helping them understand roles, responsibilities, and the skills required for different professions.
Embed essential employability skills, including CV writing, job applications, and interview techniques.
Enable students to apply their knowledge in real-life scenarios, such as designing, producing, and selling products within a market or school shop environment.
Foster resilience and independence through weekly planning and collaborative activities aimed at generating income.
Promote personal development by building students’ understanding of the world of work, business operations, and the concept of cultural capital.
Ensure all students complete the Enterprise option with outcomes that reflect their individual strengths and abilities.
