We support students who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to access some or all their learning within the classroom. Our approach is highly individualised, offering bespoke programmes that prioritise both academic progress and personal development.
Through a blend of alternative provision, vocational experiences, and sensory-based learning, we aim to build self-esteem, confidence, and emotional regulation. These experiences are designed to foster independence, prepare students to become learning-ready, and equip them with skills for future pathways—whether in further education, training, or employment.
Our provision may include access to a dedicated counselling service, ensuring that emotional wellbeing is supported alongside targeted one-to-one intervention sessions. Our SENCo works closely with the wider team to embed sensory and adaptive teaching approaches throughout the school. This includes providing tailored resources and implementing inclusive practices that benefit all students.
One-to-one interventions in English and Maths are delivered by key staff who stretch and challenge learning. These sessions are tailored to support progression towards functional skills qualifications or GCSEs, depending on each student’s goals and abilities.
By working closely with every learner, we create a nurturing environment where personal attainment is celebrated, and future progression is actively supported.
