Buying and Selling in Year 10 Maths During their Year 10 Maths lesson, students have been practising buying and selling things from their ‘mock’ shop.  Lewis showed me how he worked out how much money he had to spend and whether he had received the right amount of change.

Year 8 Humanities

Trojan Horse Year 8 Lime have been learning about the Trojan Horse and have thoroughly enjoyed building their own in class. The end result was almost as big as some of the children. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, and the creativity of the staff, in bringing the lessons to life.

Dylan and Aleks Amazing Work Dylan and Aleks produced some amazing creative accounts in their extended writing class.  Aleks confidently read his aloud, explaining how various creatures killed their prey, with much enthusiasm.

Year 7 Food Technology Year 7 used the claw and bridge grips to safely cut potatoes whilst following a recipe to make Dauphinoise potatoes.

Year 8 Science Year 8 Lime have been learning about solids, liquids and gases in Science.  They did an experiment were they turned water into  ice cubes and then blew air (gas) into straws to create bubbles.
